Oct 7-9: IAHD-Americas headed to Central FL to participate in the Weeki Wachee Warrior Challenge, the Wreck Racing League's 2011 Formula H2O® Racing circuit finale. This promises to be an exciting event - great equipment, mermaids and lots of support for our wounded veterans.

 

November 2011
Nov 2-5: IAHD-Americas heads to Orlando, FL for the DEMA Show. DEMA Show 2011 is the only international trade-only event for the diving, action water sports and travel industries.

Newswise - A small group of veterans with spinal cord injuries who underwent a four-day scuba- diving certification saw significant improvement in muscle movement, increased sensitivity to light touch and pinprick on the legs, and large reductions in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms, according to Johns Hopkins researchers. more>>
